Hi, I’m Saira, the heart behind SFK Photography.
I’m a wife, a mom to three amazing kids, and a photographer based in the Sacramento / West Sacramento area who believes every family has a story worth preserving beautifully.
Photography started for me back in high school, when I signed up for a photography elective and instantly knew this was what I wanted to do. From there, I spent years working in different studios, learning how to pose, light, and guide people so they feel comfortable in front of the camera. When my son was born, I finally opened my own studio—and ever since, I’ve been committed to capturing meaningful, timeless images for other families, couples, and kids.

I’ll guide you with flattering poses, but I’m always watching for the real moments—the giggles, the shy smiles, the way your child runs toward you, the way you look at the people you love.

I’m patient, especially with kids, and I’ll walk you through everything—from what to wear, to how to pose, to where to place your hands. I’ll give you direction so you’re never left wondering what to do, but I’ll also give you space to relax and be yourselves.
